A little bit of a late pass but Vampire Weekend released their 2nd album, “Contra”. The 1st album, the self-entitled “Vampire Weekend”, was a hit and was in many “best of” lists during 2008.

During the past few years, there has been immense improvement in the field of graphics. We can see that in the most recent blockbuster Avatar, where the graphics were so good that people were just simply blown away.
But sometimes it’s good to see good old-fashioned graphics done right. Check out this motion video about Parkour, where the illustrations were hand drawn and they added motion to it old-school style with flip book animation.
