Introducing The Sarcasm Punctuation

Ever had trouble expressing sarcasm over the Internet? With the introduction of a new punctuation mark, the Sarcasm punctuation or the SarcMark, people will no longer have problems of having their sarcastic remarks being misinterpreted.

The SarcMark was developed by Sarcasm Inc. , a company based in Michigan. The symbol which is comprised of a dot with a spiral line around it. The company has applied for a patent on the symbol.

Currently it can be downloaded for $1.99 and can be used for both Macs, Blackberry devices and any PC running Windows 7, XP or Vista. It can also be used for Word documents, instant messaging applications, e-mail and other various applications. Once downloaded, all the user has to do is press ‘ctrl’ + the full stop or “period” button.

Only time can tell if this will catch on or will just be a passing fancy.
