A little bit of a late pass but Vampire Weekend released their 2nd album, “Contra”. The 1st album, the self-entitled “Vampire Weekend”, was a hit and was in many “best of” lists during 2008.
I don’t know how to describe the Vampire Weekend sound. It’s indie rock that uses a lot of different instruments which give it a unique sound. The sound is fun and up-swingy. Definitely a good way to start or end a day with.
